3D printers, once used only for prototypes, are turning into production lines in Turkey. According to Para Dergi (17 August 2026), 3D print farms, where dozens of printers run at the same time, are multiplying across the country.
Turkey in numbers
- Turkey has more than 600 industrial 3D printers.
- The number of 3D printing service companies is estimated at 700 to over 1,000.
- 30-80 professional farms run 10 or more printers.
The global market is growing fast
Figures reported by Dünya put the global 3D printing market at $30.5 billion in 2025, growing about 24% a year towards $169 billion by 2033. More striking still, over half of the market now comes from final-part production. Aerospace and defence account for roughly 28% of applications and medical for 20%.
Why the farm model is rising
Farms allow small and mid-size runs without tooling costs, instant design changes and make-to-order instead of stock. Industry figure Yıldırım Ünverdi, speaking to Para Dergi, stresses that the model is a strong fit for personalised products and fast-changing consumer demand.
CraftWi is part of this shift
